Happy Monday team!
Big congratulations to Ade Solebo on a successful debut at USKA sports this past Saturday! Ade put on a 3 round Muay Thai clinic en route to a unanimous, 30-27 finish in his debut fight. Ade has been riding with the team for many years and was actually scheduled to compete in 2023 but injured his shoulder and has since gone through surgery, rehab, and a host of other life issues to get back to that same spot he was in.
So if you ever feel like you hit a small snag and it’s completely compromised your momentum, just stay the path, you will get back! Time is going to pass you may as well make it count. Ade did!
Ade joins the rest of a strong squad including Brandon Sutton, Joel Ramos, Ayden Southard, Jason Lam, and Andy Almorales next weekend at the WKA National tournament — one of the toughest tournaments in the US. Make sure to give these guys some support over the next two weeks!

Lastly, due to a schedule conflict on my end, we’ll be postponing/rescheduling our Team Sparring Day on Saturday, August 8th. But don’t worry — we’ll come back with another date and time ASAP. And the ice bath has already been purchased, so we’ll be breaking that out at some point this Summer no matter what. Nobody’s off the hook 🙂
I appreciate your understanding with this last minute change! I hate to do it, but some important family obligations have popped up that I need to address (basically, my whole family is coming to Philly that day to get together and I need to be present — it’s all good stuff, no emergencies or anything). I just hate reneging. You guys rock!
