WEEK OF JUNE 16th, 2025

Happy Monday Team!

I hope all the fathers had a nice and relaxing holiday yesterday!  Because today it’s back to work on the mats 🙂

 

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 24th — our regularly scheduled 7:30pm Gi class will be replaced by a day of promotions and open mat.  We have a number of belts to give out this time.  For blue belt, John Martin, James Bradovsky, and Brian Brosnan.  For puple belt, Gabe Lewis and John Kahn.  Plus, a few miles of stripes to go around!

 

We are two weeks away from Gianna Vadino’s title defense at Warrior’s Cup in NYC!  Gianna will be taking on a West Coast standout in a long awaited matchup between two of the country’s top athletes.  If you are interested in attending live (and it is one of the best shows on the East Coast, if not the country), you can pick up your tickets here: Warrior’s Cup 70.

 

Grappling Industries returns to Philadelphia in mid-July!  We encourage all our students who have interest in competition to speak with a coach to get prepared.  Grappling Industries is a tough one — the round robin format ensures you’ll have a number of matches throughout the day, but it does add up!

 

In the meantime, let’s keep working hard and I’ll see you on the mats!
