NEWS AND UPDATES FROM THE NORTH STAR ACADEMY OF MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

WEEK OF AUGUST 24th, 2026

Happy Saturday team!

 

I’m shooting this newsletter out a few days early to make sure we get ahead of my absence this week.  I’ll be in Sunny California until Saturday, the 28th, visiting family and (hopefully) dropping in to some cool BJJ academies in-between the obligatory stuff.

I’ll be effectively “out of office” all week so if there’s anything that requires my personal attention, please get back to me ASAP.  Otherwise, hold on to it, and we’ll chat when I return 🙂  Gonna do my best to get into the California spirit and just hang loose a bit.

All classes (youth and adult) are on as scheduled, with the following exceptions:

Monday (nogi) and Friday (gi) 10am BJJ sessions are OPEN MAT.

I don’t anticipate any hiccups but your patience and understanding are appreciated if there are any snags!

Looking forward to seeing you all when I return!
