Happy Monday Team!
Thank you to all the students and staff who came out on Saturday night to support Coach Tre as he picked up a dominant and exciting win at Gut Check Championships! As a coach it’s always really fun to see your athletes specifically execute skills that have been rehearsed throughout the fight camp. Tre is healthy, undamaged, and hopefully will be back in the ring soon!
Don’t forget that our 101 Seminar Series continues this Tuesday @ 6pm with “Pad holding 101.” Pad holding is one of the most important skills you can have as a good teammate — a good pad holder will not only learn through the practice of putting combinations together, dictating range, and strategizing through specific flows, but also make a ton of friends on the mats through the high demand for their skillset. Plus, good pad holding practices keep both you and your partner safe!
Make sure to come out this Tuesday night and learn (as well as review) the fundamentals of good pad holding!
Also, mark your calendars for Saturday, June 24th — we are finally holding our 6 Year Anniversary Party! Technically, our anniversary is in February.. but let’s be real, February is lowkey kind of a lame month so we have decided to push it forward to the Summer so we can improve the experience.
Join us at Attic Brewing Company from 4-7pm that day. More details to follow!
In the meantime, let’s keep the momentum going. I’ll see you on the mats! |

Our Junior Samurai Stripe Challenge this week is Red! Students can earn a red stripe by successfully completing a three minute plank! This is extremely difficult — no elbows or knees are permitted to touch the ground. |
