Happy Monday Team!
Got a scorcher of a week on deck, so make sure you are setting yourselves up for success by hydrating like crazy throughout the day!
We have a busy Saturday coming up as well, so we’ve made some small adjustments to our weekend schedule to accommodate it all. Please note the following:
Later on Saturday we’ll be making the trip to Hockessin, Delaware for Victor Vega’s debut on Gut Check Championships. Victor has been training super hard and is poised to put on a great show. You can grab tickets at the door and we’d love to see you there! |

Join us this Saturday at 11am for a comprehensive workshop geared towards orienting you towards achieving the blue belt in Jiu JItsu!
This workshop will focus on the four main fundamental skills of jiu jitsu, and work from concept to technique in order to provide you with both a map, and a compass, to help guide you during your training.
The workshop is free and open to students of all levels (a gi is required, though). We are also accepting cash donations for our Tap Cancer Out team fundraising efforts for the October tournament. A private donation box will be set up at the front desk for those who can contribute.
Our focus will primarily be on these four concepts and skills:
And we will be understanding these skills through concepts such as frames, levels, and inside space. Hope to see you there! |
