Feliz Lunes, equipe!
I am writing to you from sunny (very, very sunny) Catalonia, Spain!
Aside from some great BJJ training, it’s basically been hiking, history, beach, and wine. Can’t complain! I’ll be back on the mats Friday, June 3rd, ready to go — hopefully I can avoid sunburn over the next few days or it’ll be a rough landing 🙂
We have a ton of events coming up in June for you all. Competitively, both Isis Toldo and Brittany Walker are making their grappling superfight debuts at Randori Jiu Jitsu Championship in Annapolis, Maryland this Saturday!
“Beast Boy” Tre Scales is returning to Gut Check on June 18th, looking for another notch on his belt.
And Gianna Vadino will be heading to Queens, NY on July 1st as she debuts on Freedom Fighter Promotions, one of the top Muay Thai shows in the country.
For ticket info, see one of the athletes themselves or just get in touch with me. We can get you all hooked up!
We’ll also be hosting coach Alex Brazinsky’s FLOWwork workshop on Sunday, June 26th as well. I’ll have more information on registration soon.
Sandwiched between all that is a hell of a lot of hard training and hot weather, so enjoy this day off and be ready to get back to work tomorrow to set the month off right.
I will see you soon! |
