WEEK OF AUGUST 10th, 2026
Happy Monday team!
August 1st marks the 1 year anniversary of moving into the Church! I’d like to give a quick but deeply heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make that transition possible. It was an incredibly huge effort and would not have been possible without the goodwill and time donated by many of you. And what a year it’s been!
In many ways not much has changed — training is training, and the grind is real. But every major external change is a great driver of internal change as well. We’ve matured as athletes, as coaches, as competitors. And even after 9 years of being open, in many ways we are still just beginning!
I invite you to help me celebrate by simply just doing the same thing we’ve been doing all along: training hard, keeping an eye out for each other, and pursuing ever elusive mastery. Maybe one day we’ll get there 🙂
We have a special weekend class schedule to accommodate the WKA National Tournament in Maryland. Please note the following Saturday class lineup:
- 10am Striking 101
- 10am Striking 301
- 11am BJJ Open Mat
All other Saturday sessions are cancelled for the week.
Beyond that, business as usual this week. See you on the mats!
