Happy Monday Team!
Let’s start with a big congrats to our newly promoted students, Zuri and Ezio, on their advancement to grey and white belt! Both of these students are total savages in our youth program and have contributed to one of the toughest and best youth environments we’ve had in awhile. Great job, both of you! I’m excited to see you continue to grow in the art.
We’re officially BACK IN BUSINESS BABY, holidays are behind us and it’s just a straight shot to Memorial Day with no days off. As such, I expect everyone is locked in and ready to make some serious progress in the next few months.
For those of you who have been consistent over the holidays, it’s just another day redlining down the highway. For those of you who took a pit stop recently, ease your way back onto the on-ramp, stay int the right lane for as long as you need, and join the convoy when you’re ready. We are excited to see you back. The highway never ends, and there’s no pot of gold at the end of it, so no matter where you are — there you are. Roll down the windows, blast your favorite tunes, and simply enjoy the ride. That’s ultimately what it’s all about.

- 1/25 – Women’s Muay Thai Open Mat (10am)
- 1/31 – Studio Ghibli Movie Night (ages 8-13). Movies, pizza, and a hot chocolate bar. What could be cooler? Cost is $35/attendee and open to all students, siblings, and friends of the academy. Register here: Studio Ghibli Movie Night
- 2/7 – Battle in the Basement, NYC @ Church Street Boxing in FiDi (tentative)
- 2/21 – Gut Check Championships in Newark, Delaware featuring the Muay Thai debuts of Xavier Taylor and Ayden Southard. Tickets available soon.
