WEEK OF APRIL 28th, 2025

Happy Monday Team!

We are currently in the middle of a giant Muay Thai competition sandwich this week!

This past Saturday, three of our up-and-coming athletes participated in the WKA Scrimmage at CFS Academy outside of Reading, PA.  Brandon, Ibrahima, and Cody all put one some solid performances in their smoker fights with myself and coach Bill in the corner.  These initial forays into competition rarely materialize for the athletes in the way they’d imagine, but the reality of competition — and often, the surprise of certain skillsets or qualities that they didn’t know they had — make these events incredibly useful in long term development.  It’s also a great opportunity for the coaches to see what’s working, what isn’t working, and what needs a tweak.

Overall we are super happy with the results!  Make sure to give those dudes a high five on the mats this week, they earned it.

 

Now, coming up this weekend we have the ISKA National Tournament in Delaware.  ISKA Champs move on to have the option to represent Team USA in the ISKA World Tournament later this year in Brisbane, Australia!

Six of our fighters are competing, including three debuts: Gianna, Tim, Sam, Pat, Elijah, and Andy!  Going to be a crazy weekend.

We’ll have streaming and spectator info when (or if) it comes.  But as far as I know, spectators are welcome with probably a $10-$15 admission fee.
