WEEK OF APRIL 7th, 2025

Happy Monday Team!

On Saturday we had the privilege of hosting Jonathan Thomas, a world champion Jiu Jitsu athlete and highly sought after international coach.  Jon spent nearly three hours going above and beyond with the group and simply over delivered.  It was a privilege to have him out and I personally gained so much from the experience.  We will undoubtedly have him back in the future.

This week is cooking up to be a fun one!  First, our Thursday night clinching class is cancelled to make space for the Level 2 Shorts Test.  Remember: previous graduates of the test are asked to attend and participate (and wear your blue shorts, if you have them)!  These tests are fun, relaxed, but tough events that summarize the core of our striking curriculum and are incredibly valuable as holistic, hands on reviews of the program.

The following evening (Friday), we will be hosting a Kids BJJ open mat from 5-6pm (ages 9+).  We will run consecutive live grappling rounds over the course of the hour and get some great training in.

And, as always, plenty of hard training on the mats.  I’ll see you there!
