NEWS AND UPDATES FROM THE NORTH STAR ACADEMY OF MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

WEEK OF FEBRUARY 17th, 2025

 

Happy Sunday Team!

Wanted to send this out a day early in case there were any questions about our schedule tomorrow — we are open as normal!  This includes our 9am and 10am striking and grappling classes.

This past week was an amazing experience, getting to share the mats with some legends of the sport: Braulio Estima, Roger Gracie, Eduardo Telles, and a host of other world class athletes and coaches.  I picked up some great skill sand can’t wait to share everything with you!

Also, big congrats to Grant, Elijah, Pat, Matt, and Nilson on their performances today at the 8 Limbs MOC competition.  All five athletes did great and showcased everything we’ve been working on.  Thank you to coaches Bill, Sam, and Gianna for taking the lead in my absence.

We have the rest of February off from special events and competition, but we get back to the grind in March with the USA Muay Thai tournament and some other cool things we have in the pipeline.  Stay tuned!
