Starting with no martial arts experience at all, I've been training at North Star MMA for about 2 months now. It's become something i look forward to every week. I moved to Philadelphia in October and did a lot of shopping around for a new gym. After checking out NorthStar MMA, I quickly knew it was a perfect fit! JUNIOR SAMURAI STRIPE CHALLENGE: TECHNIQUE

WEEK OF 1/27/25

This week’s Junior Samurai stripe challenge is Green for Technique!

Students can earn a green stripe this week by discovering a new Jiu Jitsu technique online and sharing it with the class or the coaches.

The entire library of Jiu Jitsu skills are available online — and pretty much for free, if you know where to look!

We recognize that not all students will have access to YouTube and other video streaming services. However, this is an incredible resources for Jiu Jitsu practitioners and an incredible amount of information can be found there. Parents, help your child navigate the online world (or find something for them on your own) that they can use.
