MONDAY MINDSET: INACTION IS ACTION
We often delay making difficult choices in order to look back and absolve ourselves of not taking the proper action. “See?” We’ll say, “I just wasn’t able to get myself together in time — but I would have totally completed that difficult task if I had been ready.”
And we believe this is somehow acceptable because we often don’t consider inaction as a conscious action. If we simply ignore something, or fail to act on it, then somehow we’re not responsible for it.
But that’s just a tricky way we manage to deceive ourselves. Inaction is action. It is a conscious effort to not do something.
It all comes down to choices. The choices you make, and the actions you take, dictate the results you get and the life you live.
Make sure to remain vigilant about the choices you face — and the actions you both take and ignore!
