Happy Monday Team!
We are back for another hard week of training on the mats!
Thank you to everyone who observed the slight adjustment in class scheduling this past weekend. Any time we operate on an adjusted schedule and we don’t have a student walking in for a cancelled class means we were able to get the word out properly 🙂 !
There are a number of events coming up in the next month! I have them listed below for you.
Please note that the Pro/Am sparring event is invite only (including here at the gym). If you are interested in attending please speak with a coach. However, if you would like to come observe you are welcome to do so.
Pro/Am sparring on April 15th
The North Star Academy will be hosting top talent from the tri-state area for another Pro/Am Sparring Meetup. This event is strictly limited to competitive athletes (with experience). Some exceptions will be made, but you must speak with the coach first.
Warrior’s Cup Full Rules Muay Thai on April 21st
Gianna Vadino returns for another title fight at Warrior’s Cup Full Rules Muay Thai on Friday, April 21st in Queens, NY! Warrior’s Cup is part of the Road to One Championship feeder league and is largely considered one of the most prestigious events on the East Coast.

Art of War MMA on May 12th
Timmy Green returns to the cage for the first time in 2023 at Art of War MMA in South Philadelphia! This event is right in our own back yard so let’s make sure to pack the arena! Ticket information will be available shortly. |

Our Junior Samurai stripe challenge this week is Blue! Students can earn a blue stripe by completing a minimum of 3 random acts of kindness. Holding a door open for someone, picking up litter, or helping out with a chore. These acts don’t have to be big in magnitude, but have to be performed with initiative. |
