“I’ll see if I can make some time to ABC..”, “I’ll see if I can find the time to XYZ…
Look, time cannot be created or destroyed. And it’s everyone around us — we don’t have to find it, either.
Pay close attention to how we structure our excuses!
Time cannot be made, nor found. Time simply exists, and then it passes by.
How you utilize the time you are given is up to you. If you lack time for one activity, it’s because you use that time for another.
You will blink your eyes and years will pass. What do you have to show for the hours of Netflix and video games? For excessive consumption? For partying on the weekends?
Now, there’s nothing wrong with any of the above. Part of being alive is, well, enjoying it.
But compare what you get from those activities to what you have to show for your time on the mats: fitness, confidence, actual useful skills, improved focus, clarity. The list goes on and on.
Your time is yours alone. It is in front of you, it is finite, and it can be used in any way you see fit.
Find the initiative and make the room in your life for the important stuff!
