Happy Monday Team!
We are heading into an important week here at the academy, with the return of our Striking 101 Review Test on Wednesday!
This test is for any student that has completed more than 4 consistent weeks of training in our fundamentals program. Participation is free, but you will need shinguards, gloves, and a mouthguard (as this is the required equipment for our 201 classes).

Please note that, weather permitting, our M4A class will be moved to Vernon Park on the 16th. The forecast is clear for the 18th, but please check our Instagram page’s stories sections or our Facebook group if things go sideways.
We will also be running a special Memorial Day Weekend schedule. I will reach out separately with details on the adjusted schedule shortly. |

Our Junior Samurai students can earn a RED stripe this week by successfully completing 25 breakfalls at home. Parents, please help your child find an open space indoors with (ideally) a carpet or rug, and advise your child to go very slow and take care to not let their head touch the floor. If the child cannot perform the breakfalls safely then they should not attempt it this time around. |
