Hey Team!
We are only six weeks away until the unofficial start of Summer (Memorial Day Weekend) which is seems crazy. Time is just flying, and yet we are packing each week in with a ton of great training and also a hectic schedule of competitive events.
We have a break from competition this weekend — however, Coach Alex Brazinski is hosting a movement arts workshop this Sunday starting at 1pm, open to both members and non-members alike. This is a great opportunity to expand your base and pick up some fresh new perspectives and skills that will aid you immeasurably in your striking and Jiu Jitsu.
From the event description:
This 3-hour workshop will focus on fundamental acrobatic and floorwork moves that get you comfortable with leaving your feet, finding confidence in your hands, and smoothness transitioning in and out of the floor. The goal is to provide you with building a broad base of sustainable pathways of moving through space with power, flow, and creativity while challenging balance, flexibility, strength, and coordination.
No specific experience is required, although familiarity with yoga, martial arts, dance, or movement is recommended. The suggested donation is $10.
See you on the mats!
